Because I can’t keep a dang secret here’s a lil bit of a song I was gonna surprise the internet with a complete cover of but here’s the beginning.
Hey! It’s my final version of Eyes That Say “I Love You” from Beck’s new album Song Reader. I rerecorded some part and messed with little fiddly sections till I decided it was time to move on. It’s a little more accurate to the sheet music now. Also, cover art.
Here’s my first attempt at a song from Beck’s new album.
It’s a bit of a rough draft, made entirely on my new iPad mini in Garageband.
I’m really sloppy at sight reading because I’m out of practice, I hope I’m not like way off. Also, totally can’t read treble clef, so I recorded some treble clef parts as if they were in bass clef and the way around too.
I forgot that I scanned my 24 hour comic. I got I think 17 hours in? Here are my 14 pages.

Man, I’m in an odd spot. I like to use subdued colors BUT sometimes really bright colors. I want to get better with colored pencils AND gouache AND digital at the same time AND get better at combining them. I don’t really know which direction to go.
Just gotta draw more.
