Strange Apparition

Just tried to whip up a quick Beck at work, came out more Kid Rock.

Did up a quick Django from incredibly underrated GBA game Boktai this morning, messing with gouache/colored pencils.

I really love colored pencils, and drawing grass. Colored pencils are the first thing in a long tim I can’t stop working with since there’s no setup at all. Still working on how to scan them well. Something will go on top of this, it’s kinda a background, probably.

Man, I’m in an odd spot. I like to use subdued colors BUT sometimes really bright colors. I want to get better with colored pencils AND gouache AND digital at the same time AND get better at combining them. I don’t really know which direction to go.

Just gotta draw more.

I was probably sad about girl things. Gosh I love colored pencils.
