SWORDS N MAGIC

Here’s some sword dudes, also an alien!!

Here are a couple variations of my promo thing I printed for MY SENIOR THESIS PROJECT, DREAM NAVIGATOR alongside the “original” that I made the transparencies from. I ended up having to redo the text by hand because of poor planning on my part.

This was the fist time I did wet-on-wet printing with my press, I printed the light blue layer first, then let the dry a bit, then printed the lighter layer and the lines wet-on-wet.

Also, they’re shiny in person. IF YOU SEE THEM AROUND MCAD PLEASE TAKE THEM I have no use for them. If for some reason you want me to send you some ask away? I’ve got ‘em out the wazoo.

IT IS WITH GREAT PLEASURE THAT I ANNOUNCE THE COMPLETION OF MY SENIOR PROJECT, DREAM NAVIGATOR.

Dream Navigator is a web site/internet book/comic/game that I built with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I illustrated it with ink washes and colored pencil.

MOST OF THE BLUE/ROCK REGION OF DREAM NAVIGATOR.

Implementation to follow.

SKLAR BIKES

I made shirts for my brother’s bike building operation with Zach. First time printing on shirts, first time printing with the new press, only 2 really bad messups, which Zach and I are wearing in those pics.

COME TO WESTERN CLUB

2 LAYER SCREEN PRINT I DID FOR MY COOL CLUB INSTEAD OF REAL HOMEWORK!!!

YEEEEEEAH 1/3(ish) DONE BUDDY!!

I wasn’t really planning on showing it but if you choose scissors you can see the art in action and some more or less complete segments of “”play”” if you go here.

I had to redo my portfolio and I didn’t want to print it so I made a digital version in InDesign. I took the opportunity to learn stuff about folio overlays. Here’s a video of me going through my portfolio real quick.

SPIDER-MAN?!?!?!

Yes. I got to draw him for class. All is well.

First batch of done Dream Navigator art :O

Oh my gosh, acrylic inks.

So it’s time for me to transition into actually making art for my senior project, because I’m more or less done with the programming part for now.

Just getting used to the tools I’m going to be using again.

I did an illustration for The Magazine, a publication on the iOS Newsstand. Here’s a preview of the article with the illustration. My name’s on the full article, lol

Check it out if you have an iPhone/Pod Touch/Pad!

zargap:

I call this one “Please like me Tumblr”

Went out and bought some random colored pencils, made this. I used a sketchbook of crappy brown paper, its kinda waxy so it erases really easily even with colored pencils which is neat

annoying daytime reblog
