HARTFORD AND SCRUGGS
Steam Powered Aeroplane and Foggy Mountain Breakdown. Also a steamboat.Redo of an old thing. I like this better. Still working on my 100% digital.
LAST ASSIGNMENT OF THE SEMESTER.

Wait what about this sky?
This is QUEST, my first completely computer-made comic. It’s Photoshop, HTML, CSS and a little jQuery. I was really excited to work on an art thing using my HTML skillz since I’ve never really done it in a visual way like this. It’s mostly a tech demo/proof of concept, I hope to tighten up some of the art in the next couple of weeks.
Working on this convinced me to have an HTML component in my senior project, but I don’t really know what that means yet.
This is everything I’ve drawn so far for my internship! These illustrations will be used in a book called The Minnesota Book of Skills, published by the Minnesota Historical Society.
Poster for Minnesota Hockey. It’s for the children!
I need to do more bright colors, everything I make is brown. It’s way easier to get bright with digital, which I do less.
I found a way to make the inkling for for a finished assignment, too. I don’t know if I’l ever use it again, but the hockey players were drawn with it, originally just for reference, but my teacher liked them so much I just colored them.
First assignment of the semester.
We got teamed up to do portraits of people in the class, I got my main man “Fresh” Aaron Schulte.
Dicking with multiply and process colors (That’s not “real” though.)
I did this on greyed paper because why not.
Civil War comic, based on Alfred and William Waud, two artist brothers who documented the war for newspapers. Also amputation.
